The Zambia Agribusiness and Trade Project II (ZATP II) is a Government of Zambia program supported by the World Bank that helps cooperatives and farmer groups grow through access to funding, markets, and productive investments.

WHAT SUPPORT DOES ZATP II PROVIDE?

It provides Matching Grants to help cooperatives and farmer groups invest in

Up to K1,000,000 Support

Eligible cooperatives and farmer groups can access Matching Grant support of up to K1,000,000 for productive agricultural investments.

60% : 40% Cost Sharing

The program funds sixty percent while cooperatives contribute forty percent toward approved agricultural equipment and investment projects.

Eligible Farmer Groups

Registered cooperatives, producer organizations, and farmer associations with active agricultural operations are eligible to participate successfully.

Farm Mechanization Support

Funding supports tractors, threshers, irrigation systems, trailers, and other productive agricultural machinery supplied through SARO.

Improved Market Access

The program helps cooperatives increase productivity, improve market opportunities, and strengthen long-term agribusiness growth sustainably.

SARO Equipment Partnership

SARO provides machinery solutions, technical guidance, quotations, and dependable after-sales support for participating cooperatives.
