Applying is simple. You don’t need a business plan, cashflow projections, or any formal documents. Just tell SARO what equipment you need, and we’ll help guide you through the process with AgLeaseCo.
No Bank Account or Title Deed Needed
You don’t need a bank account or titled land to qualify. This leasing program is designed for small-scale and emergent farmers, even those farming on traditional land with no formal documents.
Equipment as Security
No need for additional collateral. The equipment you lease acts as the only security, making it easier and safer for farmers without assets or financial history.
Affordable Payments Over Time
You can pay in small amounts spread over 2 to 5 years (24 to 60 months). The repayment period depends on the type of equipment you choose and your farming income, giving you enough time to grow your business.
Fixed Interest Rate You Can Trust
The interest rate is fixed at 28% per year, which is much lower than what micro-finance institutions charge (between 120%–180%). No hidden fees, and no exchange rate risks, everything is in Kwacha.
